Job Description:
Personal Assistant / Director of First Impressions
Immaculate Events by Tiffani
 
Dealing with current and potential clients, as well as current and potential vendors.
Handling Phone Calls and Emails
Setting Appointments
Running Errands
Working Bridal Shows
Working Open houses
Attending Some Meetings or mixers for networking
Confirming appointments and organizing and helping with managing personal and business appointments.
Handling any general office paper work
Having a complete knowledge of the company and what we represent and help with ideas to make the company grow
 
 
Behaviors needed to fulfill this position:
 
    * Customer Orientated - Receptionists and administrative assistants have to live to serve the customer. This can be a customer of the traditional sort visiting your office for an appointment, or it could be an internal customer from another department. Whatever the case may be, customer service is at the core of this position.
 
    * Frequent Interaction With Others - With the high degree of emphasis on customer service, comes frequent interaction with others. It is important that the next administrative assistant you hire enjoys frequent interaction with others.
 
    * Organized Workplace - A receptionist is like the nerve center of an office. It is absolutely critical that this individual have great organizational skills to ensure the smooth flow of information throughout your organization.
 
 
Values/Motivators
 
    * Traditional / Regulatory - A successful administrative or executive assistant is someone who focuses on doing things the "right" way according to his or her organization's culture and standards.
 
    * Utilitarian / Economic - With the wide variety of tasks and duties an admin assistant will take on, it is important that this individual be focused on efficiency and making the best use of their time.
 
    * Theoretical - The most effective administrative assistants are those who have a good understanding of their organization's business and "how things work." This requires a thirst for knowledge and the desire to learn something new each day on the job.
 
 
Personal Talents and Skills
 
    * Self Management - A receptionist often works without direct supervision and is expected to accomplish tasks without constant delegation. For this reason your receptionists must be skilled in managing their time at work effectively.
 
    * Flexibility - An administrative assistant can be called on to do any number of wide and varied tasks. This individual must be flexible and able to respond effectively to these requests.
 
    * Planning and Organization - Again, organization is critical in this position. An unorganized admin assistant can literally cripple an organization's operations.
 
    * Interpersonal Skills - Given the high frequency of interaction with others, receptionists must have great interpersonal skills that make visitors feel like they are welcome guests to your organization.
 
·      Diplomacy and Tact - This position often serves as a gatekeeper to upper managers and executives and can also bear the brunt of an upset customer's anger. For this reason it is important that this individual be able to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and tact.
 
Salary is $8 per hour plus commission (commission is based on you booking an appointment and the client signs a contract)
1 5 bookings of the month you receive $50 per client
Anything above 5 bookings in that same month is $100 per booking client (no max on commission you just start over every month)
 
 
Hours may change weekly depending on appointments set and weddings booked but you will always know at least 1 week in advance what your work hours will be. 
 
If you choose to work weddings this is a separate position and it must not interfere with your regular duties as an assistant.  The hourly rate for weddings is $10 per hour.
